How I cook Roast Veggies.
I love roast potatoes and save energy when cooking them by using a large roasting tin to which I add a little oil. I preheat the oven on high for about 5 minutes then add the potatoes. Cook for about 35 minutes turning them over after about 20-25 minutes. I then add the sausages. After a total of about 50-60 minutes, I add the yorkshires and leave to heat through for another 5 minutes then serve. I use the small, top oven which only has 1 shelf which is why all the roasty stuff is all done in the same pan. Any veg needed is cooked on the hob. The gravy is made from the veggie water strained at the end of cooking with gravy powder. p.s. I have a photo but couldn't get blogger to load it for some unknown reason.
